You have signed the patient consent form

You sign our patient consent form on site at the Allergiezentrum Wien West. You will receive this either at the entrance area or at the reception desk, or you can download it online. You must provide us with your mobile number and e-mail address and tick points 1 to 3.

1
You will receive a 1st e-mail from us and click on the link

As soon as the findings are ready, you will receive a first e-mail from us in which you will be asked to click on a link. At the same time as this e-mail, you will also receive a text message informing you that your findings have been made available online and that you will receive an e-mail with a link.

Example for the 1st e-mail:

"Dear Ms. Musterfrau!

The Allergiezentrum Wien West has provided you with a new document in the online mailbox aceto365. You can download this until 1.4.2021. Click on the following link to access your document: Registration

Yours sincerely,
Allergiezentrum Wien West

2
The Internet browser opens and you enter the mTAN received by SMS

As soon as you have clicked on the link in the e-mail, an aceto365 website will open in your Internet browser and you will receive a new SMS with the mTAN at the same time. Please enter this mTAN, which you received by SMS, on the opened website, accept the terms of use and then click on the "Confirm" button. You are then logged into the protected area and can view and download the findings.

However, the link from the first e-mail can only be used once and is only valid for 48 hours. If you click on the link in the e-mail later than 48 hours after receiving the e-mail, you will not receive an SMS and therefore no mTAN. If you do not click on the link in the e-mail for the first time, no SMS with the mTAN will be sent. You can see the rest of the process in the error message section below.

Error message

You have received the first e-mail with the link, but have clicked on the link in the e-mail too late, i.e. at least 48 hours after receiving the e-mail. This e-mail link is no longer valid after 48 hours and therefore no SMS will be sent. Please click again on the link in the 1st e-mail. The website aceto365.com will open in your Internet browser, where you should click on the “Request access” button. You will then receive a second e-mail with a new link, which is again only valid for 48 hours.

Example for the 2nd e-mail:

If you click on the following link, a mobile TAN will be sent to you by SMS to the mobile number provided, which you can use to log in to MyACETO: Request mobile TAN

The link “Request mobile TAN” is *ONLY USABLE ONCE* and valid until ….. These restrictions are for the security of your data. If the mobile number is incorrect, please contact the Allergiezentrum Wien West.

If you do not receive the SMS with the mTAN, there may be several reasons for this.

a) The telephone number you have registered with us is incorrect or has changed. Please contact our staff at the counter or the secretariat by telephone on 01 982 41 21 or Mr. Mirko Hämmerle at buero@allergiezentrum.at

b) You have received our 1st e-mail, but you have clicked on the link later than 48 hours after receiving the e-mail. This e-mail link is no longer valid after 48 hours and therefore no SMS will be sent. Please click again on the link in the 1st e-mail. The website aceto365.com will open in your Internet browser, where you should click on the “Request access” button. You will then receive a 2nd e-mail with a new link, which is again only valid for 48 hours.

c) You have received our 1st e-mail. As soon as you have clicked on the link in the e-mail, the website aceto365.com opens in your Internet browser, where you should enter the mTAN. However, you have not received an SMS (without the website telling you why) and there is also no “Request access” button as described under point b. Please now press the F5 key in the Internet browser (on your cell phone, please delete the cache/history of the website under the settings in the Internet browser). This will delete the old settings in the Internet browser. Then close the Internet browser again. Please click again on the link in the 1st e-mail. The website aceto365.com will open in the Internet browser, where you should click on the “Request access” button as described under point b. You will then receive a second e-mail with a new link, which can be used once again and is only valid for 15 minutes.

Terms and results in the findings

1
Diagnosis

This refers to the recognition of a disease or the classification of the patient's symptoms and examination results collected in the anamnesis into a clinical picture.

2
Therapy

The "Therapy" section describes the measures to treat the allergic disease (usually medication). Based on the diagnosis, our doctors determine the treatment to eliminate the cause of the disease (causal therapy) or the symptoms (symptomatic therapy).

3
Recommendation

Here you will find a summary of our tips and advice for further clarification steps.

4
Control

Please make a note of this appointment for a check-up. Please note the current waiting times for an appointment and make an appointment 3 months before the planned check-up date by telephone or online at www.allergiezentrum.at/termin.

5
Medical history

The results of the doctor's consultation and the systematic questioning of patients are summarized here in order to present their state of health and complaints.

6
Allergy diagnostics prick test

The skin can be tested to determine whether certain substances trigger an allergic reaction. You will always first find a list of the substances tested on your skin in your report, followed by a report under "Result" as to whether the skin reacted to one of the test substances mentioned. A minus means a negative result and that no sensitization was detected. A minus/plus means a questionable positive result and that further tests may be necessary. A plus means a positive result. Two pluses mean a strong skin reaction to the tested allergen. The relevance of the result is always assessed in connection with the existing symptoms.

7
Laboratory findings Specific IgE classes

Sensitization is indicated if the measured value is above 0.35 kUA/l. To simplify matters, the result is also given in allergy classes from 0 to 6. Class 0 means that there is no sensitization. Class 1 means a weak sensitization and class 6 a very strong sensitization. Here, too, the relevance of the result is always assessed in connection with the existing symptoms.
Proof of sensitization (class 1 to 6) and a reaction of the body to the allergen are evidence of an allergy. In the case of sensitization, the organism has built up a specific immune response after initial contact with a foreign substance. A renewed contact can then lead to an allergic reaction with typical symptoms.
No evidence of sensitization (class 0) and no symptoms in the body rule out an allergy. If the body nevertheless reacts, this could be an intolerance and additional examinations may be necessary. In rare cases, a negative IgE test may also indicate an allergy, which can be detected in further tests (e.g. nasal provocation, food provocation or drug skin test).

8
Laboratory result total IgE

The total IgE antibodies in the blood are measured, which can be elevated in some cases of allergies, but also in other diseases (e.g. parasitosis, neurodermatitis, etc.). The normal value for total IgE in children depends on age; in adults the value should be below 100 kU/l. An increase in the value indicates an "allergy tendency", but can neither prove nor rule out an allergy. Elevated IgE values often exist without any specific disease value. In allergy sufferers, the values for total IgE are almost always elevated. If there is no allergy, the values are usually normal (i.e. below 100 kU/l).
