Dear patient,
The diagnosis and treatment of food allergies and intolerances involves various tests, precise observation of your reactions to different foods and detailed discussions with our specialists. This food diary is an important tool for finding the cause of your symptoms.
The evaluation of the food diary takes place as part of a nutritional consultation.
You are welcome to make an appointment with us (01/9824121, www.allergiezentrum.at/termin).
Important notes on your food diary:
- Make a note of all the food AND drinks you have consumed during the day, as well as the exact time of consumption if possible
- Don't forget to write down what you have eaten between meals (including chewing gum, cough drops, potato potato chips, etc.)
- Be as consistent and honest as possible when keeping the diary, even if you have eaten something "unhealthy"
- Do not change your eating habits and continue eating exactly as before
- The information should be described precisely, e.g. instead of "tea" please use "peppermint tea", not "meat" but "pork sour roast" etc.
- Your complaints should be noted in the "Remarks" column on the right, with the time when they occurred
- The following should also be noted in the "Comments" column: medication taken, professional stress, personal anger, sporting activity, physical strain
